CORONA — A man repeatedly stabbed another in the chest during a fight on Northern Boulevard, then tried to hide the bloody knife after the brutal attack, according to the Queens District Attorney's office.

Erick Mora was indicted for stabbing Fabian Carreno, 30, multiple times during in the face and neck during a fight on the corner of 97th Street and Northern Boulevard on Aug. 3, police said.

Surveillance video released by the NYPD showed Mora leaving the scene, then returning to continue fighting with Carreno — which is when he mortally stabbed him, police said.

Mora tried to destroy the knife he used to kill Carreno, and also attempted to hide his own bloody clothing, according to the indictment from the Queens DA.

He was arrested Feb. 3 in Corona and charged with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, prosecutors say. He was ordered held without bail and is due back in court April 15.

He was also arrested last June for marijuana possession, records show.

Information on his lawyer was not immediately available.
