MIDTOWN — The MTA’s Cold Weather Plan remained in place Tuesday morning as the city was hit with 3 inches of snow and temperatures in the mid teens.

Straphangers were warned to allot additional time for travel as 2 and 3 trains were running local from Chambers Street to 96th Street and 4s and 5s ran local from City Hall to 125th Street, according to the MTA.

6 trains were also running with delays and there were no express 6s in The Bronx.

The N train was running local from 59th Street in Brooklyn to DeKalb Avenue and Ds were running local from 36th Street to DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn, according to the MTA.

The snow was expected to let up around 10 a.m., the National Weather Service said.

Tuesday's temperatures were expected to reach just 22 degrees.
