SUNNYSIDE — A Brooklyn dumpling restaurant has expanded to Queens.

Park Slope eatery Dumplings & Things opened a second location Sunday, bringing affordable dumplings, soups and baos to Sunnyside, according to one of the owners.

The family-owned business at 45-26 46th St. is helmed by Lorraine and Sam Li, a brother-and-sister team who use homemade dumpling dough and braise the meats to fill the savory treats in-house.

"We make our own dough — we do everything," said Lorraine Li.

The original Dumplings & Things has been in Park Slope for about three years, she said, adding that they thought there was a niche for their food in Sunnyside.

"We realized that there aren't any restaurants like ours in the neighborhood. We think we can offer something here," Li said.

The eatery will serve five kinds of dumplings, steamed or fried, with fillings like pork with napa cabbage or spicy beef with kimchi. An order of five costs just $3.50, according to the menu.

Other dishes include braised beef noodles, pork belly noodle soup and baos that come in three flavors — braised beef, pork belly and vegetable.

The eatery is casual, offering counter service and takeout, Li said. The new outpost will differ from the Brooklyn location by offering housemade wheat noodles, as well as rice platters served with grilled chicken, shrimp or pork.
