MANHATTAN — A gunman opened fire inside a SoHo Thai restaurant Wednesday and then took $200 from the register, police said.

The man, who can be seen walking down the street on surveillance footage released by police, walked into Lan Larb, at 227 Centre St., about 10:30 p.m., shot a single bullet into the ceiling and demanded cash, according to the NYPD.

A 26-year-old woman working at the eatery opened the register and the gunman snatched $200 from inside and fled, police said.

No injuries were reported.

In the police video, the suspect wears a gray peacoat over a gray hoodie and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
