TOTTENVILLE — A Staten Island mother with a suspended license crashed her car into a pole and did not secure her 4-year-old daughter in a car seat, prosecutors said.

Amanda Pellecchia, 25, was driving her 2004 Jaguar when she crashed into a pole Tuesday at the corner of Hylan Boulevard and Cunningham Road around 12:20 p.m., according to court papers.

When police arrived, the vehicle was turned over and they found Pellecchia's daughter crying in the back seat, which did not have a car seat for the child, court papers read.

"My child is in the car," Pellecchia told police, according to court papers. "I don't know what happened. I was going home."

Both mother and child were hospitalized, according to the complaint. The name of the hospital and the severity of their injuries were not immediately clear.

Police later found Pellecchia previously had her license suspended for unpaid parking tickets.

Pellecchia was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at her Wednesday arraignment, according to the District Attorney's office.

Her lawyer did not want to comment for this story.

Other notable crimes in Staten Island include:

The teen — who's name is being withheld — was arrested on Jan. 23 after he was caught cursing at another student in the hallway of Susan Wagner High School, according to court papers. When officers tried to arrest him, he attempted to flee then flailed his arms, court papers read.

He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. While under arrest, officer linked him with the gunpoint robbery of a livery cab driver on Christmas Day.

In the Dec. 25 incident, the teen and another 15-year-old, who was arrested on Jan. 6, held a gun to a cab driver in front of 54 Maple Pkwy. and took her cellphone and $100 in cash, according to court papers.

He was charged with robbery, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, according to the District Attorney's office. His bail was set at $1,000 bond, $500 cash for the robbery and he's due back in court on Friday, according to court records.

► A 14-year-old boy was arrested for robbing a teen of his cellphone at knifepoint with two accomplices earlier this month, prosecutors said.

The boy — who's name is being withheld — was arrested on Jan. 21 for the robbery of a 14-year-old boy on Jan. 4, according to court records.

A female accomplice, who has not been arrested, asked the victim, "Why are you looking at us?" before the boy punched him in the face. The other assailant, Tayvon Hines, 16, who was arrested on Jan. 6, pulled out a knife and went through the victim's pocket to take his iPhone 5, court papers read.

The 14-year-old was charged with robbery, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, endangering the welfare of a child, assault and harassment at his arraignment, according to the District Attorney.

► A man tried to beat a drunk driving arrest by pulling into his driveway instead of stopping for police, prosecutors said.

Police saw Antonio Devito, 36, run a stop sign in his Dodge pickup truck on the corner of McClean and Kensington avenues on Jan. 20 around 2:31 a.m., according to court papers.

Devito was arrested and had a blood alcohol content of .074.

He was charged with driving while ability impaired and was released without bail, according to the District Attorney. He's due back in court on March 18.
