MIDTOWN — A minor derailment on Metro-North Wednesday afternoon delayed trains traveling from Grand Central Terminal to New Haven, according to the MTA's website.

No one was injured in the accident, which occurred on Track 18 of the New Haven Line around 6 p.m., according policeman and an railroad employee.

Trains were still delayed for five to ten minutes by 8 p.m.

The commuter railway instituted a series of reforms after a derailment in 2013 killed four passengers and led to a scathing federal report that revealed safety problems.
