UPPER EAST SIDE — An armed robber held up a 21-year-old woman at gunpoint on East 80th Street and stole her purse, NYPD said.
The man approached the woman in front of 325 E. 80th St., near First Avenue, at about 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 28, police said. The thief grabbed the victim's purse and fled east on 80th Street, police said.
Police described the suspect as a man in his 20s. A surveillance image released by police shows that he was wearing a jacket over a hooded sweatshirt.
