BROOKLYN — A grenade launcher found in a Bushwick apartment during a drug raid was inoperable, an NYPD spokesman said.

Police arrested Juan Garcia, 41, at about 4:15 a.m. Friday after an anonymous tip about drugs and guns in his apartment at 846 Knickerbocker Ave. Investigators found drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles and the inert grenade launcher, according to the NYPD.

A tweet from the 83rd Precinct initially descried the launcher as a "WMD," but the launcher can only be used once and police found it had already been fired.
