BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are searching for two suspects who shot a 48-year-old man in Bed-Stuy last month, police said.

The suspects approached the victim in front of 1615 Fulton St. about 1 p.m. on Dec. 15, firing a gun and hitting him once in the buttocks, NYPD officials said.

The man was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition, authorities said.

Police released video of the suspects Tuesday, with one man described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white strings, black shoes and black pants. The other is described as wearing a black hooded Nike sweatshirt and blue sweatpants with a white stripe down the side.

Authorities also released video of two suspects wanted in connection to a Dec. 28 shooting in the neighborhood that left a 68-year-old man injured. It is not thought to be connected to the earlier incident, police said.

The victim was sitting in the courtyard of Willoughby Court Apartments at 109 Marcus Garvey Blvd. when he was shot in the groin, police said. The motive is unclear, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Surveillance video shows the two suspects, described by police as being between the ages of 16 and 19, entering a building elevator.

The incident prompted tenants to call an emergency meeting with the 81st Precinct to discuss safety in area buildings.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
