DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A fire at a construction site caused a smoky scene in Downtown Brooklyn Monday morning, officials said.
Firefighters responded to the call at 285 Jay St. near Tillary Street, about 7:45 a.m., officials said.
Smoke billowed from the blaze that occured on the first floor of the site.
The fire was brought under control around 9 a.m. No injuries were reported from the incident.
