LITTLE ITALY — A robber stole more than $1,000 from a Bowery bank on New Year’s Eve, police said.
The suspect, whom police described as a 50-year-old man, entered the Capital One Bank at 116 Bowery just before 2 p.m. and demanded money in a note he passed to the teller, according to the NYPD.
He fled with $1,002, police said.
Police described the suspect as approximately 5-foot-10 and weighing about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black coat, police said.
