EAST FLATBUSH — A man shot in the neck while sitting in his minivan on his own block earlier this month has died from his injuries, officials said Tuesday.

An unknown assailant shot Calvin Terrance George, 43, on Dec. 15 at 4:30 p.m. while he sat alone in the driver’s seat of his silver minivan, parked yards away from his home on Rogers Avenue between Clarkson Avenue and Lenox Road, on the border of Prospect-Lefferts Gardens and East Flatbush, police said.

Witnesses told police at the time that a man approached the parked van and fired multiple times through the rear window, striking George in the neck.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, but later succumbed to his wounds, officials said.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified in the case, police said.
