BROOKLYN — Seven people were injured, one of them seriously, when a massive fire gutted a Cypress Hills home early Friday, FDNY officials said.

The flames started on the second floor of 161 Hendrix St., near Fulton Street, about 1 a.m., ultimately sending seven people to Brookdale and Wyckoff hospitals, an FDNY spokeswoman said.

Dramatic video shows massive flames roaring out from the second-floor windows.

The seriously hurt person was taken to the hospital in stable condition, FDNY said.

Five other civilians and a firefighter were treated for minor injuries, officials said.

About 168 firefighters finally brought the blaze under control about 4 a.m., officials said.
