WOODSIDE — A massive blaze erupted in Woodside Wednesday morning, tearing through four storefronts, fire officials said.

The flames erupted inside Don's Professional Services at 38-05 69th St., near Roosevelt Avenue, about 11 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

Flames spread through a connecting attic space to an empty storefront, then to Gwapa Beauty Salon at 38-09 69th St., and finally Edward's Travel, at 38-11 69th St., according to Deputy Chief Joseph Ferrante.

Some 100 firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control about 45 minutes after they arrived, officials said.

No one was injured and fire marshals were still investigating what sparked the blaze, officials said.
