BROOKLYN — An 8-year-old girl woke up in her bed and found a man holding a knife to her throat early Saturday, police said.
The girl, whose name was not released, had been sleeping when the man crept into her Bedford-Stuyvesant bedroom about 2 a.m. and demanded she give him money, according to the NYPD.
She did and he fled the scene, police said. He was still at large Monday morning, police said.
It was not immediately clear how much money the man took or why he targeted the young girl.
