Man Robbed 4 Women Inside Williamsburg Bars, Police Say

BROOKLYN — A man has been robbing people at Williamsburg bars and music venues since September, according to the NYPD.

The man stole a 23-year-old woman’s unattended bag at The Well at 272 Meserole St. about 9 p.m. on Sept. 14, making off with her iPhone and multiple credit cards, police said.

He then struck Tutu's Brooklyn at 25 Bogart St. on Oct. 4, where he allegedly stole a 26-year-old woman’s bag while she was having a cigarette outside at about 3 a.m. Her bag had $30 and multiple credit cards in it.

On Oct. 12 he stole a 34-year-old woman’s purse inside Trash Bar on Grand Street at about 3:30 a.m., stealing her iPhone and multiple credit cards, according to the NYPD.

Then on Oct. 19 he allegedly stole a  47-year-old woman’s bag with cash, credit cards and her iPhone 4s inside Privilege Lounge on Graham Avenue at about 3:20 a.m.

The man is about 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds with short black hair, police said. He was last seen wearing a white baseball hat and black jacket.
