Suspects Snatch Man's Gold Chain at Subway Station, Police Say

 Two men pushed a 63-year-old man to the ground in the Brook Avenue subway station and stole his gold chain, police said.

MOTT HAVEN — Two men ganged up on a 63-year-old man to steal his gold chain inside of a Bronx subway station, according to police.

The suspects, who police said were both 25 years old, forced the victim to the ground and snatched his gold chain from his neck about 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 27 in the Brook Avenue subway stop on the 6 line, at Brook Avenue and 138th Street, according to the NYPD.

The victim was left with bruises but did not go to the hospital, according to police.

The first suspect is about 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, and he was last seen in white sneakers, a blue hoodie and light blue jeans, police said.

The second suspect is about 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, and he was last seen in black boots, a gray hoodie and beige pants, police said.

There is no reason to believe the suspects and victim knew each other, said the NYPD.
