MANHATTAN — An Upper West Side man invited a date he met online over to his apartment Saturday only to have the man pull a gun on him and steal his Xbox, Macbook Pro and other electronics, police said.
The 30-year-old victim, whose name was not released, brought the man into his home on Columbus Avenue about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, an NYPD spokesman said. Police did not provide a cross street.
The suspect, who is in his early 20s, then stole the victim's Xbox, Macbook Pro, iPod, and LG cellphone at gunpoint before fleeing, police said.
