GREAT KILLS — A pair of thieves stole a man's bag and used his credit cards to buy Red Bull, prosecutors said.

Marc Confessore, 23, and Taylor Millan, 21, took a 22-year-old man's bag containing credit cards, a wallet and clothes from inside an unlocked car parked at the L.A. Fitness on 3231 Richmond Ave. on Sept. 3, Millan, prosecutors said.

The next day, Confessore used one of the credit cards to buy four cases of Red Bull, worth around $87, from a Walgreens on Forest Avenue, court papers read.

He also tried to use the card to buy more Red Bull at a CVS on Forest Avenue but it was declined, according to court papers.

Five days after he stole the bag, Confessore was arrested after he tried to steal 48 packs of bacon, four cases of Heineken, five bags of dog food, steak, chops, paper plates and towels from the Stop and Shop on 2745 Hylan Blvd., prosecutors said. He was re-arrested Wednesday in connection to the credit card robbery, prosecutors said.

Millan was picked up last week by police following a Crime Stoppers tip, authorities said.

Prosecutors also suspect Confessore of being one of three people who robbed a Dongan Hills spa with a hammer on Aug. 20.

The trio walked into the New Royal Spa, 639 North Railroad Ave., and threatened an employee with a hammer and made off with $600 in cash, according to court papers. The other two men have not yet been arrested, police said.

Confessore was charged with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and credit cards at his Thursday arraignment in connection to the credit card theft, according to the Staten Island District Attorney's office. His bail was set at $2,500 and he's due back in court on Wednesday.

Millan was charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property at her arraignment on Friday. Her bail was set at $3,000 and she's due back in court on Thursday.
