NEW BRIGHTON — Thieves broke into a Staten Island pizzeria last month and took cash from an ATM machine and the register, police said.

The suspects forced open the back door of Famous New York Pizza, at 430 Jersey St., at 1 a.m. on Sept. 24. They then took an undetermined amount of money and left the restaurant, police said.

Surveillance video released by police shows two men crawling on the floor behind the counter of the pizzeria, breaking open the cash register and taking money.

Anyone with information in regards to this burglary is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
