PARK SLOPE — A 33-year-old man was arrested after allegedly throwing a soda bottle at a bodega clerk during an argument over the price of the beverage, according to police.

Michael Davis was inside a bodega at Fourth Avenue and Union Street on Sept. 26 about 7:55 p.m. when he flew into a rage at the clerk and hurled a 20-ounce bottle at his face, according to a police complaint. The bottle left cuts on the clerk's face, according to a police report.

Davis allegedly told officers, "I did throw the bottle at him, but not that hard," according to a police report.

Davis was arraigned on Tuesday on charges of assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and harrassment, according to a criminal complaint. He was back in court on Thursday where he was hit with an order of protection and released without bail, according to court records.
