CORONA — The MTA has set aside more than $140 million for repairs on seven stations along the 7 train, according to its capital plan.

Mets-Willets Point, 111th Street, 103rd Street-Corona Plaza and 82nd Street stations will each get more than $21 million in "renewal" work starting in 2015, according to the MTA.

Three stations in Woodside  69th Street, 61st Street-Woodside and 52nd Street  will also see more than $21 million in repairs, which are set to begin in 2017.

A spokesman for the MTA said renewal work could be done on stairs, canopies, mezzanines or platforms, but it was too early for specifics.

The MTA's capital plan is released every four years and identifies major projects in its subway, bus and railroad systems.

The agency also earmarked $40 million to reopen a Long Island Rail Road station in Elmhurst that closed nearly 30 years ago.
