Man Tried to Sexually Assault Teen in Greenwich Village Garage, Police Say

MANHATTAN — A man lured a teenager into a Greenwich Village garage and then tried to sexually assault him Friday afternoon, according to the NYPD. 

The attempted assault happened inside the Hilary Gardens Garage on Broadway south of East 8th Street at about 4:20 p.m. on Sept. 12, police said. The 17-year-old victim managed get away uninjured.

The suspect is about 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds, according to the NYPD.
