CORONA — A man tried abducting a young girl on Labor Day as she was playing outside, police said.

The suspect was driving near Corona Avenue and National Street around 4:30 p.m. Monday when he motioned for a 7-year-old girl to get into his car, according to the NYPD.

He was driving a black Toyota Camry with tinted windows and white New York plates, and police said the car is from 2012 through 2014.
