The attacker grabbed the necklace from the 25-year-old straphanger aboard a Canarsie-bound train at the Atlantic Avenue station on Aug. 10 about 12:30 p.m., police said.
He then hopped off the train and fled. The woman suffered minor cuts, the NYPD said.
The suspect was wearing a Ralph Lauren polo shirt and blue jeans, according to surveillance footage.
