MIDTOWN — A girl was injured after getting her hand stuck in a paper shredder in an office building Friday morning, officials and witnesses said.

The girl, whose name and age were not released, suffered the injury at 488 Madison Ave. shortly after 11 a.m., the FDNY and witnesses said.

She was taken on a stretcher out of the building near West 51st Street and brought to Bellevue hospital, said a witness and fire official. The extent of her injuries were not known.

A concierge at the building watched emergency responders carry the girl to the ambulance. He said she was alert and accompanied by adults.

"She was conscious when the ambulance took her," said the concierge, who only gave his name as Rocky. "I didn't see any blood."
