NEW YORK CITY — In recent weeks DNAinfo has covered several additions to the city's food scene, including a bagel cafe offering more than 30 flavors of cream cheese and a cafe and bar that caters to everyone from the breakfast crowd to those arriving after a nightcap.

This weekend the following bars, cafes and restaurants are open for business:

Bread Brothers Bagel Café at 912 Manhattan Ave. in Greenpoint

The third location of Bread Brothers Bagel Café opened this week in Greenpoint, bringing its 30-plus cream cheese flavors, including honey, pecan and bacon scallion, with it. The café's other locations are at 220 Bushwick Ave. and 810 Grand St.

Boobie Trap at 308 Bleecker St. in Bushwick

A boob-themed bar recently opened in Bushwick with "color my boobs" coloring sheets, décor that includes cutouts from adult magazines and an unclothed female mannequin. Boobie Trap is the work of Kristen North, a bartender for 12 years. The bar serves slow-cooked barbecue lunches and is open until 4 a.m. everyday except Sunday, when it shuts at midnight.

Dig Inn at 80 Broad St. in the Financial District

This healthy fast-food café has opened its ninth city location and its third location downtown. As a darling of the lunch crowd in search of nutritious meals, Dig Inn allows customers to put together their combination of protein, grains and vegetables.

re.union Café at 544 Union Ave. in Williamsburg

A husband and wife team has opened a café inside one of the new luxury developments that line Union Ave. Serving coffee, sandwiches and breakfast items, re.union is angling to cater to the area's young families by also offering a kids menu and an area with toys and books.

Sunrise/Sunset at 351 Evergreen Ave. in Bushwick

As the name suggests, the new café and bar Sunrise/Sunset is angling for customers in search of a morning coffee and breakfast and those looking for a nightcap cocktail. The owner of the café, Henry Glucroft, told DNAinfo New York that the menu will include a version of a Vietnamese summer roll, a much denser croquet monsieur and a wine list that will expand to more than 100 types of organic wine.

Tazzina at 102-15 Metropolitan Ave. in Forest Hills

A celebrity chef from the Food Network's show "Chopped," Jason Zukas, opened Tazzina on Thursday with a menu of Italian comfort food. Zukas told DNAinfo that the restaurant would be "very romantic, chic and definitely very sexy" while retaining "an old school feel."
