Thieves Take Cellphones and Jewelry from Pawn Shop, Police Say

PORT RICHMOND — Two men threw a brick through a Staten Island pawn shop's window and made off with cellphones and jewelry last month, police said.

The thieves broke the front window of Casa De Empenzo pawn shop, at 438 Port Richmond Ave., with a brick at 12:30 p.m. on July 31, police said.

Once they got inside, the pair broke the store's display cases and took cellphones and jewelry, police said.
