FLATIRON — A man was busted after he voluntarily told a police officer he had a loaded handgun in his car, NYPD said.

Bobby Robinson Jr. walked up to an officer in front of 29 W. 21st St., between Fifth and Sixth avenues, about 12:30 a.m. Sunday and said, "That's my car and I left a gun in the trunk," police said.

Robinson, 27, was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, according to online court documents. He's being held at Manhattan Detention Complex on $7,500 bail or $15,000 bond, Department of Correction records show. He's due in court Friday.

His lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
