THE BRONX — A gunman opened fire inside a Morrisania playground last week, hitting a man in the leg, police said.

The 21-year-old man, whose name was not released, was sitting in a playground at 818 Home St., near Union Avenue, when three men came up to him about 10:15 p.m., shot him in the leg and ran away, the NYPD said.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, police said.

It was not immediately clear why the three men shot the victim.

The suspects were captured on surveillance tape running from the scene.

One was wearing a red baseball cap, a white T-shirt, dark pants and high-top sneakers.

The other two were wearing white tank tops.
