ASTORIA — Brooklyn's "Girls" spent some time in Queens on Thursday.

Cast and crew of the HBO hit show filmed scenes on Steinway Street in Astoria Thursday morning, turning a storefront between 30th and 28th Avenues into a mock post office for the shoot.

Cast members Zosia Mamet and Alex Karpovsky — who play core characters Shoshanna Shapiro and Ray Ploshansky — were both spotted on set, as a food tent and several equipment trucks lined much of the block.

"Girls" is currently filming its fourth season. Crews were spotted in May shooting a fake traffic jam scene in Bed-Stuy, and previous seasons were filmed in Fort Greene.

Though the show is set in Brooklyn, it's no stranger to Queens — the series has filmed at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, according to the studios' website, and creator Lena Dunham told fans during a live chat on Twitter last year that she thinks Queens is the best borough for food.
