UPPER WEST SIDE — The Hampton Jitney got the initial green light to add a fourth drop-off location in the neighborhood.

Community Board 7's Transportation Committee approved a request Tuesday by the NYC-to-Long Island bus line to keep its existing drop-off locations outside 5 W. 86th St., 2345 Broadway and 2219 Broadway, while adding a fourth at 107. W. 86th St.

These locations still need the approval by the full board and the DOT.

Hampton Jitney representative Patrick Condren said 250 total passengers would be spread out across its 39 drop-offs per week.

Despite some residents' concerns about traffic, the board thought having passengers dropped off by bus rather than than cabs home would actually ease congestion.

"In terms of these locations, it’s minimal, minimal, minimal impact," said committee co-chairman Dan Zweig.
