GREENWICH VILLAGE — A Village food truck vendor was beaten up by two men in a late-night attack last week, police said.

Nicolo Bondoc, 24, and Benjamin Cruz, 41, got into an argument with the vendor at Seventh Avenue South and West Fourth Street about 12:35 a.m. on June 24, according to the NYPD.

The argument was over food, police said, though it was unclear what exactly prompted it or which type of cart it the victim operated. It quickly escalated into a physical fight, police said.

Bondoc and Cruz pushed and punched the 28-year-old vendor several times, leaving the left side of his face bruised and swollen, police said.

The pair was arrested for assault and given desk appearance tickets, according to court records. They are expected to appear before a judge in August.

Cruz did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and Bondoc could not immediately be reached.

Other notable incidents in the Sixth Precinct include:

► A man tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill at Luxor Lounge at 118 MacDougal St. on June 28 at 3 a.m., police said.

Jawann Toomer, 27, concealed the fake bill among several real bills, but the fake bill stood out because it was missing some security features, police said.

Toomer was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Management at Luxor Lounge was not immediately available for comment.

► Police arrested a man for masturbating aboard a crowded PATH train car on June 29.

Gregory Richardson, 35, was charged with public lewdness after the 11:15 a.m. incident at the Ninth Street PATH station, police said.

He pleaded guilty, authorities said.
