UPPER WEST SIDE — A woman died after plunging from a Broadway high-rise onto a busy sidewalk in an apparent suicide Thursday morning, authorities and witnesses said.

The victim, 34, who was not identified, was pronounced dead in front of 2054 Broadway after officials received a call at 10:11 a.m., the FDNY said.

The incident was being investigated as a suicide, police said.

Jacques Tassy, a doorman at the South Pierre at 160 W. 71st St., said he found the woman on the ground wearing gym clothes.

Northbound traffic was closed on Broadway between West 70th and 71st streets but reopened shortly before 11 a.m. as police investigated.
