FORT GREENE — A man was arrested for killing another man outside his home at the Walt Whitman Houses two months ago, the NYPD said.

Shaquille Upson, 20, allegedly shot Armal Mallory, 42, in the head and torso outside 79 N. Oxford Walk shortly after midnight on April 14.

Malloy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers with the 88th Precinct picked up Upson, who had four sealed arrests between 2011 and 2013, outside his home on North Portland Avenue on June 15, according to commanding officer Capt. Peter Fiorillo.

Upson was later identified by a witness in a police lineup.

The motive for the shooting was not clear.

He was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon and is expected to appear in court on June 20.
