HELL'S KITCHEN — A construction worker injured his leg after falling 15 feet at a work site Thursday morning, according to the FDNY and a people at the scene.

The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was working on the Tishman Construction site when he plunged from the site on 42nd Street and 11th Avenue at approximately 7:25 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

A security guard who declined to give his name said ""A guy fell hard ... at least 15 feet."

Paramedics transported him to Bellevue Hospital with a leg injury, he added.

Tishman Construction, which worked on the Javits Center renovation, did not immediately return request for comment.

Work on the site resumed before 9 a.m. A Buildings Department representative said officials responded to the incident, but did not provide any details about the fall.
