16-Year-Old Robbed of Phone and Nintendo 3DS at Knifepoint, Police Say

MOTT HAVEN — A teen boy was robbed of his phone and other electronics at knifepoint in his apartment building, police said.

The suspect, who was armed with a knife, confronted a the 16-year-old victim in his building's elevator and demanded his possessions on April 20 at 2:30 p.m.

The suspect allegedly took an iPhone 4, Nintendo 3DS and money before fleeing. No one was injured.

The thief was wearing blue jeans, black sneakers and a black hooded sweatshirt, police said.

Police did not disclose the address of the incident.
