FORT GREENE — A 30-year-old man lost his Rolex watch along with multiple Samsung TVs, an iPad, MacBook Pro and clothes when a burglar took $50,000 worth of contents from a U-Haul truck, police said.

The man had rented the truck from a U-Haul lot and left it locked and parked under the BQE near Clermont Avenue for a little more than two hours on March 30, he told police.

When he returned he found the back door opened and all of the contents removed, according to police.

No arrests had been made as of Monday night, police said.

Other crimes in this week's blotter at the 88th Precinct included the following:

• A 52-year-old woman scared off a would-be burglar from her Carlton Avenue apartment on April 1, according to police. The woman heard a man rattling her apartment door after she took out the trash at approximately 5:30 a.m. The man had gained access to the foyer of the apartment through an unlocked front door and was attempting to break into the second entranceway, according the police. The woman told police that she pushed back on the door and screamed until the man ran away. Police said they have been unable to locate the suspect.

• A 32-year-old woman's bag containing a Canon Rebel camera, a video microphone and an iPhone was stolen from Brooklyn Moon Cafe, at 745 Fulton St., on April 6. The woman went to order a drink at 3 a.m. and left her bag on the table, police said. When she returned it had been taken. The stolen items were valued at $2,300, police said.
