YORKVILLE — A woman found her husband stabbed to death in their East 85th Street apartment Monday evening, police said.

Hector Rossy, 53, was found with stab wounds to his chest and neck inside his fifth floor apartment at 328 East 85th St., near First Avenue, about 6:50 p.m., the NYPD said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Investigators believe Rossy may have killed himself with a pair of scissors that were found at the scene, an NYPD spokesman said. There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment, he added.

The medical examiner's office will determine Rossy's cause of death.
