FORT GREENE — What do get when you cross Snoop Dogg, downward-facing dog and glow bracelets?

Fort Greene Park's "Glow In the Dark Yoga Party."

The recently launched Brooklyn ZUMBA Fitness is putting a new twist on yoga — hosting a sunset class on Friday nights that incorporates yoga, high-energy hip-hop tunes and glow-in-the-dark bracelets.

Founder Brittany Allen, of Clinton Hill, is also eyeing classes such as "Yoga Spa Nights with Massage & Detoxing Shots," which incorporates fresh juice with workouts, and "Butts & Gutts ZUMBA Class," which combines good music, the outdoors and a challenging workout class.

"It's a great way to spend a Friday night," said Allen. "The classes are outdoors with power movements that still provide the spiritually soothing experience of flowing yoga and exhilarating workouts with awesome people in the community."

Allen, who practices zumba and yoga but is not a certified instructor, recently hired a Zumba instructor and is in search of a yoga instructor.

She founded "Brooklyn ZUMBA Fitness" in March as a way to take workouts outdoors. Her base is near the Prison Ship Martyrs' Monument in Fort Greene Park, where she will host Zumba and yoga classes nearly every day of the week beginning April 18.

"I lost 30 pounds exercising outdoors and I want to share what I learned with other people," said Allen, 25.

Allen said she plans to keep the music down to not disturb neighbors and class sizes will max out at 20 participants to mitigate the noise.

The Parks Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Classes cost $15 dollars with a $5 discount for the first session. Package deals are also available. For a full schedule and prices, visit Brooklyn ZUMBA Fitness.
