HOWARD BEACH — A young woman was found inside a hotel in Queens Saturday and police were trying to piece together what led up to her death, police said.
The victim, an unidentified 22-year-old, was found at 11:24 a.m., unconscious and unresponsive at the Surfside 3 Motel, at 164-33 Cross Bay Blvd., police said.
Rescuers pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
A man who answered the phone at the motel said no manager was available to speak and he would not comment on the investigation.
Police said that the medical examiner would determine the cause of death and would not indicate whether it was a suspected homicide.
The victim's family had not yet been notified, police said.
