SOUTH OZONE PARK — A group of hip-hop legends, many hailing from the five boroughs, will perform this weekend at the city's only casino.
“Hip-hop has deep roots and a tremendous presence in New York City and Resorts World Casino is excited to bring such a high caliber of artists to Queens," said Michelle Stoddart, director of public relations and community development at the Queens casino.
Kurtis Blow, who was raised in Harlem, was recently honored by the City Council along with the Bronx's Afrika Bambaataa, Melle Mel and others for their contributions to New York City culture.
Tickets for the show are $25 in advance, and $35 at the door on Saturday.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.
