MANHATTAN — A man was injured on the southbound platform of the A and D trains in Harlem Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was hurt inside the station at St. Nicholas Avenue and 125th Street about 1 p.m., FDNY and MTA officials said.

He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with serious injuries, but in stable condition, an FDNY spokesman said.

It was not immediately clear how the man was injured, officials said.

Southbound A and D trains were briefly interrupted, running locally between 125th Street and Columbus Circle, an MTA spokeswoman said.

Full service resumed about an hour later with residual delays.
