CARROLL GARDENS — It's always good to have a cash cushion.

A Brooklyn-based wallpaper company's line of decorative pillows will on sale at $100 each at a Carroll Gardens sample sale next week.

Inspired by some of its most popular designs, Flavor Paper launched its pillow products last year — its first step outside wallpaper designs and into fabric wares, said general manager Blake Findlay.

The pillows will be featured at a sample sale hosted at By Brooklyn, a fine goods shop dedicated to Brooklyn-made products, on March 8.

While the cushions, made with fabrics like linen and “ultrasuede,” are typically priced between $120 and $200, they will be sold for $100 apiece at the sale.

Flavor Paper, whose “lab” is located in Cobble Hill, offers both screen-printed and digital custom work for wallpaper, according to its website.

For people familiar with Flavor Paper’s work, it is an affordable way to bring its designs into your home — without breaking the bank.

“It’s a really good way to have a piece of this wonderful emerging company without spending thousands of dollars,” said Mindy Dulberg, manager of By Brooklyn.

A limited selection of the pillows will be available at By Brooklyn, located at 261 Smith St., during the sample sale on March 8 from noon to 5 p.m.
