THE BRONX — A man dressed as a woman stole an iPhone at a wig shop in Allerton Monday evening, police said.
The unidentified man was caught on surveillance video at Mo Tress Wig and Hair Store on 4200 White Plains Road at 5:40 p.m. The video, released Thursday, shows him pocketing an employee's unattended smart phone that had been left on the counter.
The suspect is about 5-foot-8 and has a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a multi colored dress with a black hooded sweatshirt and a red hooded coat, police said.
