TIMES SQUARE — A report of a suspicious package prompted 1, 2 and 3 trains to temporarily bypass the Times Square subway station in both directions Monday morning, the MTA said.
Trains started bypassing the station about 9:30 a.m. while police with dogs investigated until about 10:30 a.m. when they determined it was an empty suitcase, an NYPD spokesman said.
Regular service resumed shortly afterwards, according to the MTA's website.
