STATEN ISLAND — Two men were shot and killed Tuesday night in what investigators believe may have been a robbery, an NYPD spokesman said.

Friends Kenrick Gray, 34, and Noland Whistleton, 41, were shot inside 140 Park Hill Ave., near Roff Street, about 6:17 p.m., the NYPD said.

Gray was shot in the head and taken to Richmond University hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

His friend Whistleton was shot in his torso and leg and pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital, the NYPD said.

Investigators believe they may have been robbed, but were still looking into the motive for the murders, a police spokesman said.

Nobody had been arrested as of Wednesday morning.
