THE BRONX — Two attackers chased a man into a Morrisania bodega where one of them shot him Friday, police said.

The 27-year-old victim, whose identity was not released, was standing outside Sheridan Minimart at 1105 Tinton Ave. when the suspects pulled up in a white car, jumped out and chased him into the back of the shop about 7:20 p.m., according to the NYPD.

There, one of the men got into a struggle with the victim and shot him once in the right shoulder before dropping his gun and running away with his accomplice, police said.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

Investigators said the assault may have been sparked by an earlier dispute.

Police released surveillance video of the men. One of them was last seen dressed in dark clothing and can be seen on video leaping from his car and running into the store.

The second suspect was wearing red pants, a zip-up sweater and a hat with light-colored writing on it. He was caught on video jumping out of the car and running after his partner.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
