BROOKLYN — A man was struck and killed by an M train in a Bushwick subway station Monday morning, transit officials said.

The unidentified straphanger was hit by the southbound train about 9:30 a.m. in the Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenue subway hub and declared dead at the station, according to the MTA.

Police and fire officials had no information about the crash.

Subway service was suspended between Myrtle Avenue and the Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue stations in both directions. There was no southbound train service on the M line past Second Avenue in Manhattan. Transit officials urged travelers to add extra travel time to their commute.
