PARK SLOPE — The luxury apartments replacing Park Slope's only McDonald's will have glass-walled terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows, new renderings show.

The drawings, first reported by Buzz Buzz Home, show a sleek, 11-story apartment building rising at 275 Fourth Ave., between First Street and Garfield Place. The site is now home to a McDonald's, which will be torn down.

ODA Architecture is designing the new structure, which will have 75 apartments and retail space on the ground floor. The apartments will be "high-end rental units" and the building will have perks such as a part-time doorman and roof deck, Brownstoner reported.

ODA Architecture recently designed a 20,000 square-foot, eight-bedroom Manhattan penthouse, and the firm was selected this month to design the Hunter's Point South development in Long Island City. Developers filed their plans for 275 Fourth Ave. with the city earlier this month and are now awaiting approval.

The high-rise is one of several developments either in the works or recently completed on busy Fourth Avenue. Plans were also filed this month for another 11-story building on Fourth Avenue and Douglass Street.

In addition to new development, the busy avenue is seeing other changes. The thoroughfare got a series of traffic safety upgrades earlier this year, and locals have been working to beautify the mostly treeless stretch.

In January, the Park Slope Civic Council is hosting a meeting with elected officials about how to improve Fourth Avenue. Check the Civic Council's website for more details.
